Walk through process to decomm VM, go through it. 1) Talk to customer on it 2) Disable Alarms on Monitoring Tools, 3) Email to Backup team to take Snapshot back job for VM 4) Stop Batch Jobs, Backups if any on VM 5) Keep informed CEM and Reporting Manager throughout walk through process. 6) Powerdown VM and update the status on ticket, keep informed Customer and CEM. 7) Email to relevant teams and CEM on Powerdown the VM.8) Wait for 1 week or more before deleting the VM from vCenter Inventory – confirm with CEM before deleting the VM
